Diane is an actor, director, and arts educator.  Her work in classrooms spans over twenty years.  After college, she immediately took her acting techniques and applied them to public speaking and life skills in high school settings.

“Theater education for me, was never about making plays or being on stage.  It was and still is, about using my energy and comedic gifts to help young adults become confident speakers, critical thinkers, comfortable in their bodies, and conscious of others around them.”

Under the guise of disseminating information about exploitative media tactics (topics include: marketing to young people, nutrition, body image, violence in entertainment), Diane’s humor breaks the ice and inspires students to think purposefully about their lives and creatively about their future.

Diane coaches students to become more vocal and to present themselves assertively, as well as, courteously.  Her insights and observations move beyond the classroom and into every day life management AND JOB SKILLS’ TRAINING
